The CTS is offered with a new 3.6-litre DI engine, which is more powerful, efficient and clean. It churns out 304 horsepower with no loss of fuel efficiency and a 25% reduction in cold-start hydrocarbon emissions. 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions are offered and, for the first time, an all-wheel drive is added as optional enhancement. The CTS has a wider track and new suspension that extends both performance and luxury attributes.

The new luxury sports coupe's standard powertrain consists of a direct injected 3.6L V-6 and six-speed manual transmission that will deliver 304 horsepower and an estimated 27 miles per gallon. The car will arrive in showrooms in the spring.

"CTS Coupe is the new focal point of Cadillac, expressing both our design and technical capabilities," Cadillac general manager Bryan Nesbitt said in a statement. "It is intended to appeal to a new generation of car enthusiasts."
